Existing Bonsai A To Z Entry for Branch Structure Branch Structure  - (Tree Parts) Describes the overall size, placement and form of the branches on a tree. In bonsai there are some simple generic rules : branches should be evenly distributed around the tree, emerging from the trunk in a natural way, with the heaviest branches being the lower ones.
